Colorado Pet Pantry, in partnership with Furever Friends Pet Photography is happy to announce its pet calendar for 2025.
The Calendar Contest will run from 8AM (Mountain Time), Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 to 8PM, Friday, May 31st, 2024.
Proceeds from the sale of the calendar and photo contest will assist Colorado Pet Pantry to temporarily feed Colorado pets, keeping them out of shelters and with their families.

This annual fundraising event means a lot to me because I have personally been involved in Colorado Pet Pantry. I have witnessed their pet food assistance program in action and the work that they do is vital to keeping our community pets in their homes and out of shelters. At this point in time, Colorado Pet Pantry is seeing record numbers for those who need help with pet food assistance. Animal shelters are maxed out, and pets need every chance possible to stay in their forever homes with the humans who love them. Colorado Pet Pantry has created such an efficient system, that they are able to feed a dog or a cat for an entire month with just a $5 donation. With the Raise the Woof! fundraiser, we hope to raise enough funds to feed thousands of additional pets in Colorado.

We are very excited to be hosting an “Experience Auction,” where you can bid on several experience-related items and see all of what Colorado has to offer!

We are looking for items like: White Water Rafting, Hot Air Balloon Rides, Tickets to Water World or Elitch Garden’s, Fly Fishing Trips, Ski Packages or Lift Tickets, Brewery and Winery Tours, Dinner Out and a Show, Hot Springs, or Hotel Stays.
Relay for Rescue is a virtual Scavenger Hunt taking place on July 11th at 2PM and we are SO EXCITED! This is a huge fundraiser for all 15 Animal Welfare Organizations participating, and we are in it to win it! Not only is R4R a fundraiser, it’s also a total blast and a great way to safely leave your house and enjoy some outdoor fun.
Are you ready?! R4R will be a bit different this year because of the virtual setting, but we guarantee it will be just as fun. No longer tied to the streets of Denver, you can join from ANY city (or any state). You can participate in large or small groups, based on what you’re comfortable with, and we will play all-together virtually via the GooseChase app on our smart phones or devices.
We also need area captains to help us organize small groups that want to do the event together. Please email us if you’re interested.

Join us for a LIVE BROADCAST of the Bow Wow Film Festival Fundraiser to support Colorado Pet Pantry on Saturday, May 16th starting at 5PM. This film is a fresh movie medley of family-friendly canine short films.
You choose if you want to donate $5 to $25 to watch (limit one device), but there will be opportunities to donate more later. Thanks to our pet food partners, just $5 feeds a pet for a month! So even a little bit goes a long way.
Your pets can be stars in our “Mini” Bow Wow Film Fest! We have some examples at the link. You got this! Videos due by May 6. #perfectquarantineactivitywith your friends far and wide. Anyone with the ability to watch videos on the Internet can watch the movie and help us to raise funds for the Colorado Pet Pantry.

Festivities begin with a Live Event. Join Colorado Pet Pantry Executive Director, Eileen Lambert with Emcee Mia Voss as they host various online activities. You’ll also hear from Guest of Honors Colorado First Gentleman Marlon Reis and pet food bank recipients Tom Rossi and Miss Rachael.
Then we’ll announce the winner of the Pawsidential Election! Vote for your favorite dog for Best Chewer of Everything (COE)! Then vote for your favorite kitty for Pawsident of Colorado Pet Pantry! Vote Early and Vote Often, as they say. Each vote is $1. (So five votes will feed a pet for a full month) Vote now
Next we will showcase our Pet Challenge Video, a.k.a. our own Mini Bow Wow Film Festival, which will be a compilation of amazing tricks and silliness our supporters have been working on with their furry friends while staying safe at home. We want your videos. Find out how to submit a video here.
